To those who knew him, Commissioner Duane Johnson of Swanville was a beloved man. It came as a shock to many when he died unexpectedly, Oct. 12, 2017.In memory of Johnson, the Swanville Lions Club, Swanville American Legion and Swanville VFW raised $15,000 which was donated to the Morrison County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) to purchase drones and equipment.
